About Huckleberry Fitness
When I first started my personal training business four years ago it was with the intention and motivation to help people who didn’t know how to take care of themselves superficially. Over time it became a passion project to turn back the clock and help people fight off conditions and ailments caused by lifestyle, jobs, aging, etc. My grandmother had MS and while she knew she needed to exercise and eat right, she didn’t, and I watched her deteriorate and pass long before I believe she should have. Some people just need a push, someone in their corner. I don’t think she had what she needed. I decided I wanted to be that push for others. To give them a chance to experience life, feel confident, feel able to do things they didn’t know if they could or should.
Now with my clientele consisting 3/4 of the lgbtq+ community it’s evolved into a safe space for everyone wishing to take control of their lives. I’ve watched clients become more confident in themselves, in their dating life, in their experience for life. Clients that were terrified to go to the gym look forward to our sessions. They take that confidence with them into the world. The privacy and discretion this operation provides allow people to work on themselves until they are ready to express themselves and become the person they always knew they were and wanted to be.
Huckleberry Fitness is, and always will be a safe space for everyone.
